12th World Congress for Microcirculation Final Call for Proposals: Deadline 10th May 2017
I would like to take this opportunity to renew a call for proposals to host the 2022 World Congress for Microcirculation. A call for proposals was initiated at the Experimental Biology 2016 in San Diego last year. This will be the final call for submissions to host the 2022 World Congress for Microcirculation.
To date, we have received one strong and promising proposal from Professor Jing-Yan Han to host the Congress in Beijing. Professor Han represents the Chinese Society of Microcirculation and he has already secured strong support from his university as well as considerable support from industry and government sources. He will present details of this proposal at Experimental Biology in Chicago next year. Any other proposals received by the end of March 2017, will also be invited to present their proposal bid at the Experimental Biology meeting in Chicago, April 22-26, 2017. Submitted proposals will be reviewed by voting members of the ILCM and non-voting guests attending the ILCM meeting
at Experimental Biology in Chicago
Proposals submitted after Experimental Biology, between April 26-May 10, will be presented and reviewed by members of the ILCM and guests attending the ILCM meeting at the ESM-EVBO meeting, May 29-June 1 in Geneva, Switzerland. In Geneva a final decision will be made by the ILCM for the site of the 2022 World Congress for Microcirculation.
I urge all of you to distribute this call to your respective society leadership and membership. This is important in order to insure the broadest possible exposure to this call and provide interested parties with ample opportunity to prepare a proposal. Please contact me if you have any questions concerning the submission process for the proposal.
